Since 29 December 2022, the URV has a new leadership. At the last General Assembly of the URV in April 2022, the Board was completely renewed as the outgoing members had served two consecutive four-year terms.
The new Board members elected Sr. Mieke Kerckhof zbj as President and Fr. Paul De Bois ocd as Vice-President.
Sr. Mieke is the superior general of the Sisters of Mercy of Jesus, a diocesan congregation. At the same time she is the episcopal delegate for religious in the diocese of Bruges.
Fr. Paul De Bois is the provincial superior of the Discalced Carmelites of Flanders.
With these two dedicated religious and the other members of the Board, the URV is in good hands.
